Rogers developed a Navigator app for the iPhone

Rogers has come up with a Navigator app for the iPhone, reports iPhoneinCanada. Well, Rogers can turn an iPhone into a GPS device with Rogers Navigator app. The app is operated by TeleNav. It is also equipped with voice-guided turn-by-turn directions on the road. The app also re-routes users mechanically if a wrong turn is taken. It includes a user friendly interface and also delivers real-time traffic updates with one-click re-routing to evade overcrowding. 2D or 3D maps are accessible in landscape and portrait modes. Lane Assist would aid in finding the right lane while driving. Speed trap and traffic camera alerts can keep users from getting into any kind of problem. The app encompasses a built-in iPhone address book. With the Bluetooth, one can listen to directions more clearly. One can also pre-plan trips from their PC at rogers.telenav.com. Users can navigate by just shaking their iPhone. Apart from the day and night modes, the app also boasts of an automatic map and business listing updates. The app can be downloaded for no charge from the Apple App Store but it is subscription service. For the monthly subscription option, consumers have to shell out $4.99 every month for the app.
