Apple's iPhone is already one of the world's best-selling high-end smartphones, and it looks like this quarter it will break a new sales record. According to Taiwanese sources - quoted by DigiTimes - Apple is expected to sell more than 10 million iPhones worldwide - 2.6 million more than in the third quarter of 2009, when the company proudly announced that it shipped 7.4 million smartphones. Apple (which has reportedly ordered the 4th generation iPhone from Foxconn) is currently selling both the iPhone 3G and iPhone 3GS in almost all important mobile markets around the world - China being one of the latest countries where the handset was officially introduced, reaching sales of 100,000 units in less than two months.
